The Coors Belfast Giants and the Odyssey have teamed up with the Integrated Education Fund to celebrate Integrated Education Week 2007 in a GIANT way!

Several of the Belfast Giants’ star players made visits to 6 Integrated Primary Schools in the Belfast area to carry out a Fitness Workshop. The P7 classes at Cranmore; Forge; Hazelwood; Loughview; Millennium and Oakwood Integrated Primary Schools were put through their paces with a fun and interactive session led by the Giants’ players!

A ‘Giant Task’ was set at the end of the day and the class had to get their thinking caps on to create an ice hockey team, including shirt design and team name, for their school. more...
